Meet the Team

Patrick W. Domkowski, MD, PhD, Medical Director

Dr. Domkowski has been practicing for fifteen years in Central Florida. He has performed thousands of surgeries on people with obesity disease.  He is passionate about helping people regain their physical and psychological health that this disease takes away. Dr. Domkowski currently serves as the Chairman of Surgery and is also Medical Director of the Metabolic and Surgical Weight Loss Program at Sebastian River Medical Center.

Dr. Domkowski completed his medical and graduate school at Georgetown University Medical School, obtaining his M.D., M.S. and Ph.D. He then went on to do seven years of surgical training, completing his internship, residency and research fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Dr. Domkowski is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. He sits on the Executive Board of Directors for the Florida State Chapter of the ASMBS. He has also previously served as Chief of the Medical Staff in one of the area hospitals.

His passion and calling are helping people to eliminate obesity disease and regain their lives, health and well-being. He firmly believes that these surgeries not only help people reduce their weight and improve their health, but provide healing to a person emotionally and spiritually. He considers doing bariatric surgery a tremendous privilege.

Dr. Domkowski routinely performs all types of laparoscopic and robotic bariatric surgery.  He also enjoys complex revisional bariatric surgery on patients that have had their surgery done elsewhere and are now having problems. Contact his staff for an appointment to meet with him.

Jason M. Radecke, MD, MS, Bariatric Surgeon

Dr. Radecke is a fellowship trained Bariatric and Minimally Invasive surgeon.  He completed his fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa.  He obtained both his BS and MS in Biochemistry and Immunology, respectively from Clemson University, and then went on to attend medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  He completed his surgical residency in general surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Radecke is highly trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and he utilizes it to treat many surgical diseases of the abdomen such as colon cancer, hernia surgery, and foregut surgery. He also specializes in the surgical treatment of obesity and has a passion for helping people eliminate the disease and the metabolic problems it causes.  He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.  His passion is helping people eliminate obesity and regain their health.

Barbara Allen, ARNP-BC, Certified Bariatric Nurse

Barbara Allen is a certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with extensive experience with both medical and surgical management of obesity.   She functions as part of the medical team to provide patient care and education before and after surgery.  She works very closely with the surgeons and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and mange care.  She is a certified bariatric nurse, and the facilitator for the Bariatric support group.
